On October 2nd, station 71 was dispatched to W. Center St. Ext. in reference to an MVA.  Initial reports stated that the vehicle had struck a sign and a tree. Engine 371 arrived to find single vehicle well off the roadway that had struck a mailbox, sign and then traveled several hundred feet off of the roadway before striking a tree. Chief Hutchins (571) had command.
