West Lexington Fire & Rescue held its annual Christmas Party on December 15, 2007.  Several members received citation bars from the awards committee.  The awards committee also presented the past Firefighter of the Year winners with citation bars in recognition of their previous award.  The following personnel also received awards; Firefighter of the Year - J. Charles, Officer of the Year - Z. Sears, and Ladies Aux. of the Year - T. Alexander.  WLFR also presented a chrome plated axe to S. Thompson who retired this month after 20 years of service. Congratulations to all who received awards.
